Islamic Poem by UmAminah Don’t seek help from any other than Allah When major misfortunes occur in your life, Make sure it is only to Allah you strive Don’t depend on other humans, who are just as helpless as you are They may give you support, but all help comes from Allah It may seem obvious, but I learnt this from that time when; My father was lying on his deathbed, I called upon my husband, my uncle and friend Until the realization: they can’t make this situation end They are just as limited as I Just as the medical staff at the hospital tried; To save him, they attempted, right till the last hour But Medicine is limited, just as our power Don’t lose yourself when Allah tests your strength What is it you want recorded, in your book of deeds? That this slave of Allah was patient, steadfast and still; Or that he fought with the nurses and doctors, and refused to accept Allah’s will? As humans, we may be tested with our health; The death of a loved one, an illness, our wealth, As Muslims we accept all of which Allah wills for us, Even if that be, the death of a parent or spouse All of which is on this planet will eventually fade After all that, what is it that we will take with us to our graves? Our possessions? None of that, will matter in the end The only thing we will take with us is our deeds.
” Allah will help …” who is he? Next-door neighbor/friend or a fantasy (non existent) in your mind ???? Why you have to bring Allah all the times. Brainwashed? During earthquake or tsunami or flood, disease or calamity- help comes from USA or Western countries or your neighboring countries. No one has seen Allah dropping food packs from sky!!!!! WAKE UP — you are not in Bronze Age any more! Population and life span increased due to industrialization, awareness, science and technology.
